My practice works through the archetype of the Seeker, a figure that accompanies me from my origins in Buryatia (Siberia), a figure that connects the spiritual and the earthly. She moves through physical, symbolic and inner landscapes in order to explore identity, memory, heritage and transformation.
I work with the states I go through myself: crises, losses, connections, displacements, desires, and life changes. In each of them, an inner question appears. In search of answers, I turn to the spiritual, to the ancestral memory, the signals; I transform what I learn in a system of symbols, through which I can translate the invisible into material form. These symbols are connected to organic forms, nature, the elements, and bodily memory.
The work becomes a symbolic key, a tangible way of understanding, organizing, and transforming what I am living through, a key which, once materialized, can also be used by anyone who feels drawn to it.
